Objectives – To provide occupational therapists with information about:

• The home modification process – considering change over time with the household; and the child, their equipment and routines.
• Broad principles for evaluating the current and future product and design requirements of children
• The process of measuring the child, their carer and equipment and using these measures to design home modifications
• The process of measuring the existing home environment to document current barriers and to help plan solutions
• A range of home modification solutions to address typical environmental barriers
• Resources to assist practice

There will be an opportunity for attendees to discuss and problem solve case scenarios from their own work setting.
