On Advanced Home Modification Training Courses in Qld

OT Australia have asked me to run an Advanced Home Modification Course in OT Week during 2011 in Brisbane for OTs. Bevin Shard shall assist me with the workshops. He has over 50 years experience in the housing industry and provides practical technical advice for workshop attendees. We shall talk about home modifications for private home owners and what to do if things go wrong with the contractor, legislative obligations of the contractor, problem areas around the home and solutions (showcasing lots of photos), redesigning a house plan to suit a client in a wheelchair (case study with a practical drawing component) and resources to assist with practice. Attendees need not have attended the introductory home mods course run recently, to attend this day.
