Objectives – to provide attendees with –

• Knowledge about broad principles and processes for designing internal and external ramps for domestic homes
• Practice designing, measuring, and drawing internal and external ramps
• Information about current literature and research influencing the prescription of ramps
• Information about the relevance and application of the Australian Standards, the Disability Discrimination Act and the Premises Standards to ramp design
• Information about clinical reasoning and alternatives to ramps
• Information about resources to enhance practice

There will be brief presentations by company representatives who will showcase their product, and a showcase of film and photos to illustrate concepts. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes as there will be lots of practical activities.
