Liz Ainsworth is running free face to face and online home modification meetings throughout 2026.
The objectives of the meetings:
- To provide an opportunity for networking with occupational therapists and others working in the building industry interested in home modification practice
- To explore common practice issues
- To share resource information and practice experience
- To discuss strategic issues that need to be addressed by the Occupational Therapy Australia, Home Modifications Australia (MOD.A), government and other organisations in relation to current strategic home modification policy and practice
All are welcome to attend, and a certificate of attendance for CPD records will be provided after the event.
Home modification meeting – 10am to 12noon on Saturday 14 March 2026 at Easts Leagues Club, 40 Main Avenue, Coorparoo QLD.
Speakers
Stuart McLean, Queensland Sales Consultant, Altro APAC Pty Ltd – discussing product that can be used for clients who show behaviours of resistance and/or staff who damage the environment wheeling equipment etc. There will be a general showcase of Altro product suitable for home modification use and discussion about the Altro CPD program.
Dr Dean Holland, PhD – presenting on how to take fabulous home modification photos using a phone (please bring your phones).
